It's finally that time of year again! Lift up those hemlines, and show off that new pedicure! Last spring was all about revisiting the silhouette of the wedge. This season has taken a different turn focusing more on detail and revamping to create a modern take on a women's stiletto/slingback/etc.
I was pretty satisfied with the shoes this season. So I had to post about it. Not only am I fancying the new feminine shapes, but i'm OBSESSED with all the color. I'll be honest, I don't always pay too much attention to the shoes, because it's either hit or miss each season, so you take your chances! Most of these collections have already hit stores for the up and coming spring 2011 pulls and I cant wait to see them on the streets and within fashion in the next couple of months!
PS: I was at the Barney's shoe salon at Northpark Center here in Dallas over the weekend and I already spotted some of my faves from the runway..I had to indulge and AT LEAST try them on..for sizing and future inspo of course. And possibly if i'm willing to SPLURGE in the next few months to reward myself! :)
These are the simple, but chic spring wedges from Ann Demeulemeester. I better be able to transform into mother effin' Grace Jones in these shoes for the asking price of $1,300+ tax! OUCH! But damn they look good, and are seriously the most comfortable 5 inch shoes i've ever laid eyes on!
I'm also in LUST with these Alexander Wang cut out shoes. From the shape, to the color, to the pressed leather giving it an exotic appeal. SO GOOD. SO 2011! and reasonable at $685 (for the fashion obsessed that is)!
With these in my closet, i'll be the hottest city slicker parading around BK!
DARE TO DREAM!
